Little Miss

Meet Camryn......she is soooo much fun! Love the outfit, don't you!? It totally fits her fun personality! I wasn't telling her what to do, it was all up to her...........that's what makes it even more fun. Hard to believe she is only 5 years old!

Love her hair blowing in the wind!

I think these family pictures are very unique and signify America's colors for their Daddy who served time in Iraq.

Glad To Have Met You

"When God gave you to me he never said that you were mine, that I could keep you always-only borrowed for a time. Now, He's called you home, I'm sad and I shed tears. Yet, I'm glad He loaned you to me and we had these many years."

Elizabeth Barrett Browning

When you enter my studio, you will see a sign that reads, "Enter as strangers, leave as friends." I hold that to be true, that we do indeed become friends and not just a customer based relationship. I fall in love with getting to know each and every family that enters my door.

More than once this year, I have been faced with the most heartbreaking news. That someone I have taken pictures of has passed, and that the last picture they had taken was by me. What breaks my heart even more is when there are little ones that are left behind. But yet I am able to give them the gift of a portrait of their happy family and to know what their mom/dad looked like for them to look back on. Capturing that moment for them is a gift for me to pass on.

Today and always my heart goes out to the family you see above. I received a phone call this morning from one of my dear friends who actually referred them to me. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Tracy.

Sweet E

My creations are one of my FAVORITE things to do when it comes to editing my images. This one was a special request from 'lil E's mommy. I love doing these because I really get to be creative and fine tune these into the moment and color of that very day! I know when her mom looks at this on her wall, the memories of Estelle's 4 year birthday pictures will come flooding back to her. What better gift have I been given? Being able to bring memories of the past to the present for families to cherish forever. I LOVE MY JOB!!!

Little E

Meet Estelle......or little E. You definately have seen her before not only on my website but in my studio. She has one of those faces that catches your eye. And that hair......LOVE it! Her and my son could pass for twins, actually they do when they are seen together!!! LOL! Enjoy!

This hat is one that can be purchased at my studio! They are crocheted by Windy Ridge. All her homeade products from hats to lotions and bath salts are all sold at my studio.

A Lifetime of Dancing

This collage is one of my most unique. At first glance it may just seem like the word DANCE is just bright funky colors. But actually, I cut each letter from a dance costume Lauren has worn since she was a little girl. Just wanted to share it with you!

Seniors 2010

I got to thinking today, you may wonder where my senior sessions are on the blog. This year I have started something new by opening a Facebook Page for the studio. With that being open I am able to post a few of my favorite edited images from each senior session before the entire session is completely edited. That way they are able to post them as their new profile picture. If you have a facebook account just let me know and I can do that for you as well with a few from your session! Just click on the Facebook icon here and click on my link, it will take you there! Have a great day!

Olivia is 5!

Meet Olivia...........I can't believe she is turning 5 this year! Isn't this pink cadillac the cutest thing?! I saw it once in her mom's garage and told her we had to use it for pictures! Olivia sure earned a lot of quarters from her mommy from start to finish of this session. I think she caught on that she had both of us wrapped around her little finger for these pictures. Smart little booger! If only someone could videotape the parents and the lengths we go to for pictures! Thanks for the laughs Angie!
